She also made us feel very welcome in the new city, taking us to some of the sights in between all the hard work of looking for a place. Kate also never tried to sell us on anything; when a place wasn't right, she made sure we considered all its negatives so we didn't choose anything we'd regret. Kate also made herself available all the time as we worked through the offer, contract, and lending processes, so we always knew where everything stood. When our closing was pushed back beyond our last day of temp housing, Kate suggested we rent the home from the owners for a day or two so that our move could continue as scheduled.
